If you were to start up a ‘to do’ list for this game right now, what would be the first three things on the list? Our terrific fans send us a “to do” list almost daily with things they’d like to see in the next version of Civ. Although Civ V is not currently in our production schedule, our motto has been that if the fans want more we’ll give them more. We definitely want to build on the great strides we made in multiplayer in Civ IV - online gaming has become such a big part of our culture and Civ should have a strong presence there. UK's Guardian Unlimited has published an interview with Sid Meier. The interview talks about the recent release of the PSP version of Pirates!, possibility of Civilization on Nintendo DS, next-gen consoles, and Civilization V. Below is an excerpt:
Late last month Take Two mentioned in a press release that starting in fiscal 2008 (which begins Nov. 1 2007), 2K Games will have new content based on the Civilization franchise. Now we can be sure that it’s not Civ5.
