2K have announced the release date for Sid Meier’s Civilization: Beyond Earth - October 24. Unlike previous titles in the Civilization series, this is a worldwide release date.
In addition, a pre-order bonus has been announced - the ‘Exoplanets Map Pack’. The official Civilization twitter account clarified that this contains ‘six custom maps inspired by real exoplanets’. Steam pre-orders are not yet available, and the Civilization twitter account also noted that ‘more pre-order options are coming’.
