Washington Post published an article about the acquisition yesterday. The article mentioned that merger talks began after THQ showed enthusiasm for publishing the two console games Big Huge Games has been developing. It also mentioned that the new Big Huge Games would shift its focus from PC RTS games to developing RPG for next generation consoles. Brian Reynolds said the merger will give BHG access to the financial resources it needs to make its games better.
