At the upcoming PAX East game festival, held Friday, March 26th through Sunday, March 28th in Boston, Massachusetts, Firaxis will be running a demonstration of Civ5 at the 2K booth. Additionally, they will be holding special sessions for interested attendees, as explained on Civilization's Facebook page:
We'll also be hosting two VIP sessions each day for Civilization V community members at 2:00 PM and 2:30 PM. These are first-come-first-serve and there are only 15 slots. If you'd like to reserve a seat, email

with the subject line "Civilization V at PAX East" – include your full name and proof that you're attending PAX East in the email body (a photo of your ticket will do just fine!)
If you are going to be in the area and interested in seeing these demos, see the PAX East site for registration details. Since events like E3 2010 (June 15-17) are closed to the general public, this is a good opportunity for fans to experience the gaming industry.
