Just a few days after the Apolyton executive changeover announcement, three former Apolyton staff members and longtime community veterans Dale, Locutus, and Solver have announced the creation of a new Civilization fan site called WePlayCiv. The stated goal of the new site is to focus on facilitating community involvement in playing and improving the Civilization series of games. It plans to provide many features tailored towards mods, user-generated content, information sharing, competitive and cooperative play and other community activities.
