Playing Gods is the world's first satirical board game of religious warfare in which players play as Gods to try to take over the world. As a god, you can convert other gods' followers, promising them things like Afterlife, Prosperity, and Miracles. Or you can kill them off with plagues, locusts, floods, and other Acts of Gods. Though the theme includes religious battles, it is really a satire with an underlying message of peace, encouraging people to think about the tragedy of killing others just because they have different beliefs.

Here are the prizes (10 prizes total):

  • Five winners receive: Playing Gods board game autographed by the creator + expansion pack

  • Five winners receive: Playing Gods T-shirt
If you want to win, all you need to do is reply to this thread once to answer this simple question:

Playing Gods lets players use gods from real religions, or make up their own. The game includes a sticker sheet where players may choose to be Cthulu, Satan, the Flying Spaghetti Monster, Oprah, the Almighty Dollar, and others. What other funny or creative real or false “gods” do people worship? Submit your funniest or most satirical gods!

We will randomly select 10 winners and the winners will be notified via email. Good luck!!! :grinning:

Sweepstakes Rules:

  1. No purchase necessary.

  2. The drawing is completely random, so there is no way to guarantee a win.

  3. You must be 18 years or older at time of entry.

  4. Participants may submit one and only one entry. Any persons attempting to enter more than once will not be eligible to win.

  5. Winners must provide a name and postal address in order to receive their prizes.

  6. CivFanatics will only collect email and name/address information of winners to ship the prizes. Your personal information will remain private and is never sold or used for any other purpose.

  7. Winners will be notified via email.

  8. All prizes will be awarded. Any unclaimed prizes will result in the reselection of a winner until all prizes are claimed.
